The DigiTechPort2030 project kick-off meeting was held on October 5–6, 2023 in Klaipėda, Lithuania, hosted by Klaipėda Science and Technology Park in cooperation with the Lead Partner, Hochschule Wismar (Germany). The event gathered all project partners and associated partners to establish a shared understanding of the project goals, roles, expectations, and workflow for the South Baltic Programme 2021–2027.
The meeting focused on:
- Introducing partners, their roles and planned contributions.
- Clarifying programme rules, financial procedures, reporting requirements, and expectations with guidance from South Baltic Programme officers.
- Reviewing project work packages, outputs, deliverables, and timelines.
- Developing the detailed workplan and activity calendar for the first project year.
The first day concentrated on consortium responsibilities, management structure, and collaborative planning of project content. The second day finalized the first-year work schedule and addressed administrative and coordination questions. Networking activities supported partner relationship-building throughout the event.
The meeting served as an essential starting point for successful project implementation, ensuring alignment among partners and setting the groundwork for strengthening blue and green growth initiatives in the Baltic Sea region.
