DigiTechPort2030 goes on air – our partners featured on ETA.fm podcast!

We are excited to share that two of our project partners recently took part in an episode of ETA.fm – one of Poland’s leading freight and maritime podcasts!

Joanna Morawska from Euro Terminal Świnoujście and Marcin Przywarty from Maritime University of Szczecin joined host Mateusz for an in-depth conversation about the green transition of small and medium-sized ports in the South Baltic region – and about what DigiTechPort2030 has achieved in practice.

The episode covers a fascinating range of topics, including:

  • The Green Energy Compass and Green Transition Tool – free self-assessment tools available to any port at smallports.eu
  • How Interreg South Baltic funding works in practice – and why green transition doesn’t have to start with massive investments
  • Euro Terminal from the inside – frozen fish from Iceland and the Faroe Islands, aluminium, cellulose, and wind turbine blades up to 82 metres long
  • From one electric forklift in 2005 to a fleet of over 30 – and more than 3,000 solar panels covering up to 100% of the terminal’s energy needs on sunny days

We are incredibly proud of Joanna and Marcin for representing the project so brilliantly. The episode is in Polish and available on below:
