The DigiTechPort2030 project held its second Project Partner Meeting in Szczecin, Poland, in February 2024, marking a significant step toward decarbonizing small- and medium-sized ports in the South Baltic Area. Hosted by the Maritime University of Szczecin, the meeting united the project’s diverse consortium to advance innovative solutions for sustainable port operations.

On the first day, partners engaged in strategic planning, aligning activities with DigiTechPort2030’s core mission: enhancing knowledge and capacity for decarbonization through a tailored toolbox and green transition roadmap. Discussions focused on integrating cutting-edge technologies to reduce emissions and improve efficiency in port operations.
The second day featured a study visit to the Euro Terminal in Świnoujście, providing partners with practical insights into port operations. This hands-on experience strengthened the consortium’s understanding of real-world challenges, informing the development of targeted solutions.
