SMM Hamburg is the world’s leading international maritime trade fair, bringing together shipbuilders, port authorities, technology providers, policymakers, and maritime professionals to showcase innovations and discuss the future of the global maritime industry. Covering topics such as digitalisation, decarbonisation, and smart port solutions, SMM provides a unique platform for networking and collaboration.

During SMM 2026, the DigiTechPort2030 consortium is planning to hold another project partner meeting, providing an opportunity to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and discuss the next steps while taking advantage of the event’s international maritime community.

Baltic Ports Conference 2026

The Baltic Ports Conference is a leading regional event dedicated to maritime sector development, port operations, and transport policy in the Baltic Sea region. Organized by the Baltic Ports Organization, BPO 2026 brings together port authorities, policymakers, and industry professionals to discuss the future of sustainable and digital maritime transport.

Although DigiTechPort2030 will not be formally presented this year, our representative will be available throughout the conference to discuss the project and share its key outcomes, including the factsheets and case studies developed within the project.

As one of the DigiTechPort2030 partners is organizing MTE 2026, the conference represents a natural opportunity to engage with the project’s research community and stakeholders. A dedicated discussion panel focused on DigiTechPort2030 is planned as part of the event, providing a platform to present project insights, exchange experiences, and discuss the role of digitalisation in the future development of ports and maritime transport.
